Why we're selective about what we install
The brand behind a compressor or a condenser matters more once something breaks. Parts availability, warranty support and how the equipment actually holds up over years of running, not just the install day, are the difference between a system that lasts and one that's back on the maintenance list within twelve months. Standby sticks to brands with a track record, backed by our own experience installing and servicing them across hundreds of jobs.
The brands we install and service
Daikin
Daikin is Standby's most-installed air conditioning brand, used across residential ducted and split systems as well as commercial installs. Reliable performance and strong local parts support make it a default recommendation for most homes.
Mitsubishi Electric
A close second to Daikin in what Standby installs, Mitsubishi Electric covers residential split systems through to larger ducted and commercial systems, with a reputation for running quietly and lasting the distance.
Fujitsu General
Standby's team has completed manufacturer training on Fujitsu General equipment. It's a strong option for residential installs where efficiency and a compact outdoor unit matter.
Carel

Installing recognised brands is only part of the job. Standby tradesmen hold Certificate 3 trade qualifications, the business is an ARC member with a refrigerant purchasing licence and every commercial or residential upgrade can be assessed for NSW ESS rebate eligibility.
